Did you know we have a podcast?

Our member, Bruce Patterson, leads discussions with board members and library staff about library happenings and Friends' happenings. Check it out!

Episode 7 - The Friends of the Medford Public Library have released a new episode of the podcast.

Bruce apparently has forgotten how to count, despite this being labelled episode 7, its actually episode 6. We’ll release the ‘lost’ episode later in the year.

Join Sam Sednek and Jenna Barry as they discuss the Digital Archiving Project. They discuss the mountains of work that is going on in regards to digitizing, collecting, recording and sorting. This is no small feat. What you need to know. They are looking for volunteers to help with the project and if you are interested, email them at medford@minlib.net. If you want to tell your story and why you chose to live in Medford, they would like to hear from you. Again send your email to medford@minlib.net.

Join us as Gloria, Rowan and I spoke about the benefits of memberships, bookclubs and the number of books left in your life! This is the second take of the initial podcast. We also promote the resources that the Friends of the Medford Public Library assist and the money raised through the book and bake sale go to fund these outstanding programs and resources. Among those were museum passes. Two weeks ago I made a trip over to the Decordova museum in Lincoln. If you’ve never been, you should definitely check it out! I took a few photos posted below. While the main building is closed due to renovation, the campus and gift shop are open Tuesday thru Sundays. Monday of course they are closed.
