Good morning!  Although, the day is rapidly getting away from me as its already 11:00.  I always used to be confused around Memorial Day and Veteran's Day, thinking they were the same thing.  Its a little more nuanced than that.  If you've had family members who have served their country this is absolutely the day to remember them.  It takes a lot to commit to military service.  

On tap for today, making some more announcements of Dee Morris and her walking tours.  If you haven't had a chance to participate, I would highly suggest.  Last Summer I had the pleasure of taking her tour of High Street and the stories about the families who lived there.  I have pictures of that, which I'll share out at some point.  This event is put on as a joint venture between the Medford Historical Society and the Medford Public Library.

As for the digital archiving project, I am hoping to finalize a monthly spot at the West Medford Community Center and record stories for the residents of that part of town who have still remained despite the gentrification and building of West Medford, more to come.
