Volunteer Opportunities
There are many opportunities for members to become actively involved with the Friends.
If you can only spare a few hours at a time we can use your help to:
- sort books for the book sale
- staff the book sale
- put together a mailing
- help with other fundraising events
- post flyers announcing the book sale or other events
If you have more time, consider joining the Executive Board or becoming a member of a committee.
Executive Board meetings take place on the last Monday of the month at 7 pm at the library. (Executive Board members must be voting members of the Friends.)
Members wanted for following volunteer jobs:
- Sale items inventory - volunteer would keep track of inventory of the items the Friends offer for sale such as book pins, note cards, etc. - Restock display case as necessary - order new stock when necessary - keep track of sales -report to Exec. Board - Estimated time committment: 2 hours / month (probably less)
